Digital/Graphics Designer

Role Description
The Digital/Graphics designer will support our corporate and product marketing objectives by participating in the ideation, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of creative and marketing collaterals; including but not limited to digital and offline applications (pitch decks, web comms, social campaigns, newsletters and more.)
The Digital/Graphic designer will be part of the Marketing function and report to the Web & Graphics Designer. Tasked with leading small to medium scale design projects from brief through delivery, the successful candidate will work closely with Marketing, Product, and leadership to develop and execute strategically astute creative assets.
Role Responsibilities
● Meet and collaborate with the internal and external briefing stakeholders and interpret briefs into design solutions for mixed audiences (C-suite, scientists/researchers)
● Design engaging, original, crisp, collateral that aligns with and enhances our corporate and product brands’ identity and that will be applied in a variety of online and offline media.
● Support the definition, evolution, organization, and maintenance of our brands’ guidelines and assets to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
● Understand and embed best practice principles to ensure outputs meet the expected quality
● Propose creative approaches that are informed by research, are creatively on-brand, and meet business and end-user objectives.
● Manage workload and ensure timely delivery of all projects, meeting all sign-off points
● Collaborate closely with the UI/UX design team to ensure brand coherency and consistency across all creative output
● Proactively identify emerging design trends, and contribute to internal creative conversations
Some of the key responsibilities you will support include:
Corporate/Brand
– Pitch decks and presentations
– Schematics and architecture diagrams for data and bioinformatics pipelines and our SaaS applications
– Sales collateral such as white papers, data-sheets, and teasers
– Social media and web campaigns
– Print and event collateral
– Brand assets & templates
Product
– Product presentations
– Newsletters
– Social media and web campaigns
– Assets for end-users programs including onboarding, training, retention, and growth.
Requirements
● Portfolio
● Minimum of 2 years working in an agency or in-house.
● Excellent working knowledge of:
○ Adobe Illustrator
○ Photoshop
○ Microsoft Powerpoint and Word
● Good working knowledge of:
○ AfterEffects
○ Premiere
○ Indesign
○ XD/Figma
● Have a keen eye for layout balance, typography, color, and brand integrity
● A clear communicator with the ability to express complex ideas clearly and succinctly, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
● Have strong sensitivity to messaging hierarchy and content readability
● Ability to collaborate efficiently with a distributed team
● Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
● A strong sense of team with the capacity to be flexible and practical as well as collaborative
● Ambition with an appetite to grow
● Fluency in English – both verbal and written is a must
● Familiarity with HTML, CSS, WordPress is a plus
