Role Description:
We are dedicated to empowering our clients to unleash the power of their data and are currently seeking a Technical Writer to join our Marketing team in Athens, Thessaloniki or remote, full-time.
The successful candidate will lead and execute the Documentation process end-to-end for our enterprise-level, AI applications. In this role, you’ll work with a talented team of PMs, Marketers, Engineers, Data Scientists, and Bioinformaticians to develop pixel-perfect documentation assets (Release Notes, User Guides, Use Cases, FAQs and more) to enable our users’ onboarding, training and engagement with our products. You will work independently to research, prepare, generate and maintain documentation artifacts and guidelines for internal and external consumption.
Role Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, structure, and create artifacts for our AI SaaS products including user guides, release notes, and API documentation.
- Continuously expand and improve the documentation artifacts in sync with our continuously deployed and improved product releases.
- Collaborate with the Product Marketing team to plan, design and produce learning materials including step-by-step guides, troubleshooting articles, reference materials, use cases and other marcomm assets.
- Collaborate with our Product Management, Customer Success, and Product Marketing teams to produce new and improved content driven by our roadmap, user needs, user feedback and real-world use cases.
- Work with Product Managers, Front- and Backend Engineers and UI/UX Designers to contribute to all aspects of a feature’s written artifacts, from UI text, to user guides, to API reference documentation.
- Attend in-house product training, development sprints and demos to acquire and maintain an understanding of our applications technologies, development and release process.
- Set standards for excellence. Establish best practices, templates, and style guides for product documentation and internal artifacts by our Science and Engineering teams.
- Develop a scalable and reliable system for internal knowledge management and organization, including defining procedures, the Docs Ops tech stack, and liaising with teams to ensure content is always up to date.
- Become a product expert and internal champion. Build and maintain a thorough understanding of DEUS’ products and technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Communications, Technical writing or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar position
- Ability to evaluate and comprehend scientific and AI/ML concepts and generate compelling, crisp content.
- Previous experience working with a modern documentation technology stack (Asciidoc, Markdown, Static Site Generators, Git and a docs-as-code approach).
- Familiarity with or previous experience working in an Agile, Continuous Delivery development environment (Jira/Confluence)
- Creative, empathetic, collaborative, and curious
- Able to quickly iterate and improve
- Ability to adhere to deadlines while maintaining the integrity and quality of artifacts delivered
- Excellent organization skills and ability to triage and prioritize projects.
- Proactive and social in reaching out to colleagues across the company, both in person and remotely.
- Prior experience in biotech, bioinformatics and/or AI/ML is preferred but not required.
- Own vision and creativity in selecting the right medium and form to convey the information most effectively.
- Excellent English, both written and verbal.
