We are currently seeking a Jr/Mid-Level QA Engineer to join our Software Engineering team in our offices in Thessaloniki. If you are interested in designing, developing, and implementing quality assurance processes and practices to ensure that our software, tools, and applications meet high standards of quality, we cannot wait to meet you!

* Candidates will be evaluated during the interview process for their corresponding level. 

What your daily life will look like:

  • Collaborate with other software engineers, data scientists, bioinformaticians, and product managers to better understand the software product requirements and ensure that the testing processes are in place. 
  • Execute various testing processes to validate the functionality and accuracy of our AI-driven bioinformatic tools. 
  • Develop and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured quality test plans, cases, and scenarios. 
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance automated testing scripts and frameworks using Python based on feature requirements.
  • Ensure the quality of our products by identifying, reporting, and resolving errors and inconsistencies in a timely manner.
  • Follow our agile principles and participate in the creation and improvement of Jira tickets.
  • Maintain documentation regarding testing processes and methodologies to increase transparency and efficiency. 
  • Prioritize and plan testing activities in collaboration with the rest of the team.
  • Stay on top of the latest technologies and trends and contribute to improving our QA footprint, automation efforts, and internal processes.
  • Participate and contribute to the team’s meetings. 

What your strengths are: 

  • Attention to detail and curiosity
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven exposure to software development
  • Basic Python working experience
  • Efficient task management 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

What is nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Selenium 
  • Basic knowledge of Linux
  • Experience in Postman or other API testing tools
  • Familiarity with performance testing 
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control tools
  • Familiarity with agile development processes
